A Novel Dual-Channel Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor

Bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) has the advantages of high integration and low loss, is especially suitable for flywheel batteries. In order to enhance reliability fault tolerance ability BSRM, a novel dual-channel BSRM proposed in this paper. This combined merits magnetic bearing, can realize fault-tolerant operation. The scalloped rotor poles are evenly distributed on inner outer walls rotor. All specially widened, which benefit raising continuity radial suspension force. Through dual-phase-conduction decoupling control rules, electromagnetic torque force be generated simultaneously without serious coupling problem. basic topology, operation principle, method, characteristics analyzed. Field-circuit joint simulation results Simplorer Maxwell confirm feasibility validity method.
